Buyer (Manufacturing)

We’re looking for a detail-driven Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you understand MRP, enjoy vendor negotiations, and know how to balance cost, quality, and service — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Review material requirements and manage MRP in SAP.
  • Place purchase orders and schedule deliveries to support production.
  • Negotiate pricing and manage vendor performance (Cost, Quality, Service).
  • Maintain accurate lead times, capacity data, and material masters.
  • Manage inventory levels, including slow-moving and obsolete materials.
  • Expedite or delay shipments based on demand changes.
  • Resolve quality issues and disposition rejected materials.
  • Approve invoices and partner with Finance on discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and company policies.

What You Bring:
  • BA/BS preferred (or equivalent manufacturing experience).
  • 3+ years of Buying experience.
  • SAP experience required; APICS/CPIM a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
